Paisley Mess

Paisley Mess are a groovy psych band from Canterbury who have played consistently for the last five years or so. After the first few years spent jamming and exploring various modes of psych/rock/jazz/prog, they released their debut EP ‘Shh’ in 2017, released a string of singles in 2018, and have recently released a new EP ‘Orange Street’ to a great response.

They’ve played on BBC Radio Kent, have been played on numerous regional radio stations, have shared bills with acts like the Once and Future Band, Beans on Toast, Jouis, and Lapis Lazuli and have played stages such as Dingwalls (Camden), the Smugglers Festival Main Stage, Ramsgate Music Hall, and the King’s Hall in Herne Bay.

Inspired by the ‘Canterbury Sound’ of the 60s and 70s, Paisley Mess offer an engaging combination of instrumental virtuosity and intricate songwriting to create something new and modern yet familiarly retro.
